Welcome to Hitching Post Ranch

We purchased our first longhorns in late 1999 after meeting John & Christy Randolph of Lonesome Pines Ranch. We consider ourselves small breeders. Our son, Patrick, has been showing on the TLBT show circuit for a few years now.

Our place is in the Bastrop County community called Cedar Creek. Cedar Creek is approximately 30 miles east of Austin, Texas. Like most other breeders, we love longhorns and have enjoyed meeting other people that raise this wonderful breed.

We have a few calves on the ground now, and have several of our cows bred to him for 2008. We cannot wait to see how his offspring turn out.

 

	Romeo Robert DOB: 6/18/2003 Sire: 4K Daytonna 03 Dam: Ginger Bred 06
Romeo is a sweet boy and was purchased to raise show calves for Patrick to show.

	DH After Shock DOB: 5/20/2004 Sire: Admirals Impact Dam: Delta Melinda Horns: 54 3/8" tt & 65" total on 4/14/07
After Shock is a gentle bull and we really like the calves that we have on the ground out of him. All of his offspring are millennium futurity eligible.

	SMW 662 Haicoach DOB: 5/14/2005 Sire: Coach Dam: YO Wichita Twister Horns: 46.5" tt & 60" total on 4/14/07
We haven't had him long enough to see what kind of offspring he is going to throw, but we think with his bloodlines, they should be nice.

	HP Cuervo Gold DOB: 3/22/2006 Sire: PCC Evader Dam: PCC Twizzler Horns: 43 5/8" tt & 45" total on 10/30/07
We purchased Cuervo when he was almost eight months old, for Patrick to Show. He is a big baby and will be with us for a long time. First calves should arrive late spring of 2008.
