Welcome to Lake Country Longhorns

Our pastures are located five minutes from I-95 at the Virginia/North Carolina border, near the beautiful Lake Gaston area. We purchased our first longhorns three years ago, selecting animals with proven genetics. We have the lines of Doherty 698, Super Bowl, The Shadow, BL Night Chex, and Winchester represented in our herd.

Our herdsire, Super Fielder, shown here at 39 months, was born in April 2004. He is by Super Bowl, out of Field of Dreams, an ITLA Champion with horns over 66".

	This beautiful heifer, Appalachia, who was born in August 2006, is one of Super Fielder's first. Her dam is Shadow Applause, a Shadow daughter. Photo taken at 11 months.

We purchased FCF Ain't Misbehaving from Darlene Aldridge last year. Her twins are out of Stars A Jumpin'.
