This bull is Emperor x RB Pretty, a Roundup daughter, from a Monarch 103 daughter called Bonita. RB Pretty had 60"+ TTT and 70" total at 5 years old. This flat horned bull has height, large frame, small ears, lots of color, is very gentle and is passing all this on to his calves.
I look for this bull to be 1800 lb. + and have 65" TTT as he matures. His calves are showing early, blunt horn growth with laid back horn, and lots of color. I am using this bull on some big horned Roundup daughters and have some calves for sale at this time.
OUR GOAL...My wife, Lora and I, started
out with some registered and non-registered Texas Longhorns, cross-breeding with Black Angus and
Limousine cross bulls and did well on
the beef market. Then our interest grew
in the registered cattle, and as anyone knows who has these cattle...it turns
into a
passion.
The passion is still somewhat of a mystery to me, although I have been around cattle all my life.
Maybe it's the cow walking up behind you and tapping you on the shoulder to get your attention...or a gentle horn helping a newborn off the ground...or the whole herd moving across the field in the afternoon sunset...and many other things that moves the soul and makes time stand still.
My family and I are working toward quality cattle that are gentle, good milking mothers with good conformation, color, and of course...LOTS of horn.
I believe in doing business the old fashioned way...being fair and most of all, honest. When I tell you something, that's the way it will be to the best of my knowledge. All cattle on this farm are for sale, some just cost more than others...
