Welcome to Cliffhanger Genetics!

Located near Sheridan, Wyoming, we have been raising Texas Longhorns for 29 years and are currently running over 200 head.

Married in May 1980, the Lord blessed us with 7 unregistered longhorns that fall. Our first registered bulls were a son of Overwhelmer and a son of King.

Brett has longhorn magazines dating back to the 1970's and knows the pedigrees and ancestors back to the beginning of the registry.

We'd like to share a few of the animals that represent our outfit.

Saddle Tramp 601, a fancy son of Top Caliber out of Love Is Blue, a pretty blue daughter of Kelo Chex.

Extremely flat horns that measured 65 1/4" ttt on his 3rd birthday. We have him with a select group of cows this summer.

Cowboy Outlaw is a good, flat horned Top Caliber son whose mother is our biggest horned Saratoga daughter. He has Unlimited, Bold Ruler, Deigo's Hot Shot, and Monarch's I-In-Command on the bottom side. We are putting him with 30 yearling heifers this summer.

High Caliber is another great son of Top Caliber with lots of horn and a beautiful red roan coat. He las lots of Butler breeding on the bottom side. We are putting him with 25 cows this summer.
