Kittler Land & Cattle, a division of Don L. Kittler Farms, is run by Kathy Kittler. We are located in Carlisle, Arkansas, in the heart of rice country.
Primarily involved in agriculture since the early 80's, our crops include rice, soybeans, corn and wheat. Don is also a dealer for GSI, contracting and building grain bin systems all through the south. We began to put together a commercial beef herd about 6 years ago and now run close to 100 head.
Early 2006, brought the addition of a separate herd, Registered Texas Longhorns, with Kathy selecting cows from various breeders. "I refer to D.L. as my 'financial backer', she says. "He never knows what I'm about to unload or have delivered here!".
We are thoroughly enjoying the Longhorn herd and love to show them off to everyone who stops by. There are so many nice people involved with Longhorns and we are looking forward to meeting more at upcoming events.
