About the artist....
Time and place for drawing and painting have always been part of Lee Tisdale's life.
It's true, at times, space may have been limited to sketching pads while waiting for kids' events to end or a cattle sale to finish, but the important thing was always a love for drawing and painting that forced her to take advantage of every spare moment.
Art demands integrity...
Lee believes, to execute a solid and believable work, there has to be familiarity with the subject. Otherwise, there is uncertainty and distortion in the rendition.
Lee and her husband are Longhorn cattle breeders and transport livestock all over the United States. These trips have provded her an understanding of and direct experience with the subjects of her paintings.
In addition to original portraits, Lee is offering a print on canvas rendition of her paintings for $125 each. These prints on canvas are such high quality, many times, it is difficult to detect the difference between it and the original.
