Shady Lane Longhorns

Welcome to Shady Lane Longhorns. We are James (Jim) and Mary Clark. We're located about 65 miles south of Kansas City, Missouri. We have a small herd, but really enjoy being around this wonderful breed.

What began as wanting a few head to raise beef in 2005, has turned into a passion.

We are very excited to have this young bull go to work for us. We use AI most of the time, but decided to get a bull for cleanup and chose him.

He is very calm, easy to work and be around. He gets the job done. We are expecting his first calves in '08. His horn predicts to be in the 60's tip to tip at maturity.

This Shadow grandson also goes back to Senator, Overwhelmer, Jet Jockey and Rural Delivery on his papers.

This is a young bull that was born to one of our cows this year that we are planning on keeping and using. He shows a lot of potential and is very laid back and easy going. He loves to be scratched all over. His horn predicts to be in the 60's tip to tip at maturity.

Last Rose of Summer, aka "Rosey" measured 37 1/2" ttt, 54" total with a 10 3/4" base.

She has Overwhelmer in her pedigree three times and is Millennium Futurity Eligible. She was bred by Panther Creek Ranch.

She will have our first Route 66 calf.
