Double MM Ranch Tour Page

The Double MM Ranch was established on June 9, 2001. It was originally purchased as a place to enjoy the peace and quiet of the country setting and to get away from the hustle and bustle of our city lifestyle. With the ranch located on the Guadalupe River between the towns of Victoria and Cuero, it was all that, but it seemed to be missing something. After much thought, we decided that it needed to become a home for the Texas Longhorn.

We set out to make a longhorn purchase and came home with a young steer and a yearling heifer to keep him company. We put them in the front pasture so we would be able to watch them grow and to share with friends and family when they visited the ranch. Since the purchase of the first two animals, there have been many more that have come to call Double MM Ranch home.

Since the start of the ranch, we have made private treaty purchases from such ranches as La Paloma Longhorns, Alpha Omega Ranch, Cedar Creek Cattle Company, Taylor Cattle Company, and Lonesome Pines Ranch. We have also purchased animals from public sales that we felt fit into our program.

We have found that the Texas Longhorn industry to be very exciting and have met many wonderful people along the way. Everybody is always willing to share information and stories about their favorite animals. Most people would also agree that one of the best ways to enjoy the outdoors is by watching these majestic animals make their way through the pastures.
