We got started in the longhorn business not all that long ago, but it has been a very long ride getting to where we are now. We've both always had a love for animals... ALL animals, and that proved to be a real problem. At one point, we raised ostriches, emus, llamas, buffalo, Barbados and many kinds of chickens and peacocks. Then I just knew I needed a few of the famed "Texas Longhorns", so we set off to get a couple of heifers. They were as wild as all get out, having been roped, didn't have much for horn and weren't much to look at. But, it did start a love of the breed and a start on a new journey. It didn't take too long to sell everything, including our first two longhorns and begin again with good quality cattle. It has been an amazing experience...

Liberal is a nice, small, farming community and we've both lived in the area all our lives. Raising cattle has been something we've both done since we were kids, however, raising longhorns was a path we chose to "try something different" and a passion was born. |

We are striving to have some of the best cattle in the industry. We are a small operation and probably always will be. We are trying to not only own the best, but to breed some of the best as well. Every longhorn breeder you talk to will tell you they are striving for horn and more horn and that is a given. But, we are trying to keep a nice, big, colorful, well conformed body under that "lots of horn" to have the total package.

All of our cattle are tame and most can be hand fed. We have two little boys, ages 2 and 5, so disposition is one of the most important things to us. We have learned so much along the way and still have more to learn. Longhorns are a great breed to be involved in and we strive to promote that to others as well. |

RB Radigan (Roundup x Tin Cup) is our current herd sire and we're very excited about his calves for 2007. We believe he will do great things for the future of our herd, he is McGill breeding through and through. He has a very calm temperment and has been so easy to work around. He has a nice clean body, great conformation and coloring and a great set of horns.
Tumbleweed, who is out of Boomerang CP and a Senator daugher, is an up and coming bull we plan to use on Radigan's heifers in the future. We have great plans for him and hope he'll produce some outstanding calves. He is very calm and gentle, a great eye-catching color, and possesses great conformation and a very heavily muscled body. Our cows carrry some great pedigrees as well.
